What We Do

Biofuel

To do your bit for a greener world and support British woodland and its biodiversity, take the leap and fit a wood burner in your house or office. Small wood burners efficiently heat any size room and ultimately save you money!

Biofuel is a fuel that is produced through contemporary biological processes, such as agriculture, silviculture (forestry) and anaerobic digestion, rather than a fuel produced by geological processes such as those involved in the formation of fossil fuels, such as coal and petroleum, from prehistoric biological matter. We also supply various biofuel markets via companies like South East Wood Fuels, Forest Heat Energy, New Forest Energy and Euroforest. They in turn supply schools, hospitals, farms (for their vegetables and herbs in glass houses) and even in private homes with wood chip heating!

Species typically used for the biofuel market are Norway Spruce, Douglas Fir, Larch (Japanese, European and Hybrid) Western Red Cedar, Western Hemlock, Grand Fir, Corsican Pine and Scots Pine among others.
